Returns & exchanges

I accept cancellations within: 1 hour of purchase.

I don't accept returns however do except exchanges on some pieces within 14 days of purchase.

Sales: If your item was not purchased at time of a sale, you cannot return the item to then buy it at sale price. As a small business, I do sales very rarely.

I do note accept exchanges on made to order items.

In order to accept an exchange, the piece must be returned unworn and in the condition it was received.

However earrings are non exchangeable due to hygiene reasons.  

For custom orders, a non-refundable deposit is taken before I can start work on the piece.

Commissions are non-refundable.

Made to order pieces are non-refundable.

If you are returning a piece, please note I do not take responsibility for the piece until I have received it.

But please contact me if you have any problems with your order and I will try my best to rectify it.

Processing time:

The time I need to prepare an order for shipping varies. For details, see individual items or contact me at hello@ellastern.com

Customs and import taxes:

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. These vary country to country. If you have any questions you are advised to contact your local customs.

By law I must declare all items at their full price and cannot alter this amount to decrease custom fees.

I'm afraid I am not responsible for delays due to customs or Royal Mail.

I will not tolerate any rude or aggressive behaviour in person or over email. Please remember it is just jewellery!

I am currently a one man band and will always try my absolute best to hit deadlines. I try to not take on too much work at once but sometimes as a solo business owner and working with other small workshops, things don’t always go to plan and orders can take longer than expected to be made and delivered.
